Thanks to recent funding from COSO, Dartmouth EMS is now offering
FREE American Heart Association CPR and First Aid classes for
Dartmouth Undergraduate students only. Cost is no longer a barrier
to learning basic skills that can save lives.

American Heart Association
Heartsaver CPR Certification Course
When: Saturday, April 30th, 12pm-2pm
Where: Occom Commons (Goldstein of McLaughlin Cluster)
Cost: FREE for Dartmouth Undergraduates (funding provided by COSO)
NOTE: students who have received
an American Heart Association CPR certification from Dartmouth EMS
within the past two years are not eligible for the free course - the
price will be $20, if so. The cost for Dartmouth graduate students
and employees & staff is $25, and the price for community
members is $30.
Blitz "Dartmouth EMS" to sign up for a spot
(we have class minimums and
maximums) OR
blitz us to ask for the rest of the spring schedule.
This course includes AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
training, and the certification is valid for 2 years.
This course meets the CPR requirement for DOC first-year trip
leaders.
NOTE: students selected to be a
DOC first-year trip leader MUST be CPR w/ AED and First Aid
certified. There is a fee for those certifications
if leaders choose to take these classes through DOC Trips.
