Hi Jennifer and all:
We have been looking high and low for the same thing, however my
efforts have not yet been rewarded. Miami University's computing
system is running through a Novell NetWare system, and I have been in
the process of digitizing audio and video files for the materials the
students use most often in the Interactive Language Resource Center.
We're using MP3 to do the audio files and have been doing MP2 or
Quicktime MOV format for the video clips. Our big problem has been
server space and finding an audio player that emulates a "last word
or phrase" repeat feature. Otherwise, we're just using the
university's disk space to house all of our stuff for now. If there
was something for Macintosh, we'd be very interested as well...
Cheers!
