Dear Ms Vigano,

You are right to say Divace DR-100 handles wav and MP2 file formats.
However, MP2 is almost as good as MP3 regarding audio compression for the
material consisting mainly of speech, producing remarkably smaller files
than WAV format and reducing considerably the need for server disk space.
These MP2 files are successfully used in places like Language Resource
Centre at Stockholm University, which has already over one thousand (!)
files MP2-compressed and stored in their servers.

Our newest version of Divace, Divace Duo does play compressed files like MP3
(as well as other widely popular compressed and uncompressed file
formats: .avi,.mpa,.mov,.mp2,wav,.mpe,.snd,.mpeg,.aif,.au,.m3u,.asx,.aifc,
.aif,.aiff,.mid,.rmi,.qt and RealMedia files).

Divace Duo v.1.3 supports Repeat (Recap) of MP3 files, too.
