I'm not sure about versions, but I have taken PowerPoint shows created in Office 98 and played them using Office 97, and vice-versa, without any sort of intervention, conversion, hair loss (how would I know? <g>), etc...

I simply saved the Office 97 show, took it to a Mac and opened and played it. And vice-versa.

Has anyone had experience converting PowerPoint presentations done in
the Mac version to PC files and then running them on a PC? Did it take
any years off your life? <grin>
Thanks in advance.
