The US version of the newest version of Word, Word 2000, which came out in
June, comes with Spanish and French capabilities (including spell and grammar
checkers) as standard features, ie you do not need to get/buy them
separately.  Of course, the menus, etc., will still be in English.

Word 2000 uses the same file format as Word 97, so files from the two word
processors are interchangeable (unlike what happened between Word 95 and Word
97).
