For cleaning up old audio files, I work under Windows and have had a good
experience with Diamond Cut Audio Restoration Tools
[http://www.diamondcut.com/dcart.htm].  It is not difficult to learn and
does a nice job.  For actually burning the CD's I use Adaptec's Easy CD
Creator Deluxe [http://www.adaptec.com/products/overview/ecdc.html]

Where may I start looking for information on how I may "burn" my own audio
CD's that have songs/stories that were recorded locally?  Which program is
(the most) user-friendly?  I work for a native american program that has
dozens of old reel-to-reels that I would like to digitize and burn onto a CD
for the departments' use as well as community members.

Although hypercard is an old favorite, we realize that may community members
do not own a personal computer, so we would like to work with a medium that
most of our people have (radio, cassette players, and CD players).

We are currently working on an alphabet audio learning series and would
eventually like to have the same material available on CD's.   I need a
starting place.  Thanks for your help.
