Durability for 2-digits? Hmmm...

We've been using the Eiki CD/Cassette combo. A bit pricier, but certainly quite durable, and seems to work well in our AV pool. In the 2-digit range, you can buy almost anything that sounds good (you've got to hear it for yourself), and be prepared to throw the things away when they stop working (you can't repair them for what it costs to replace them).

Good luck...

I am about to purchase several portable CD and cassette players. Does
anyone have a recommendation for a durable, light weight, not-too-big model
with a two-digit price?

Thanks.

Ursula
