------------------
We recently purchased a dozen of the Koss SB-30 for the LLRC's PCs.
Originally we tried the Koss R-70, but for some reason we couldn't quite
figure out, it was not compatible with all of the sound cards in machines on
campus. The SB-30 has been recommended by others on LLTI before - that was
how I heard about it myself. It seems quite durable, sounds great and
produces nice quality sound files with this mike. We could really see the
difference in the visual representations of waveforms when compared with the
cheap mikes using some speech recognition software.
