general syntax. I am currently reading Susan M. Braidi's "The Acquisition
of Second Language Syntax" (Anold/Oxford University Press, 1999, ISBN 0340
64592 HB, ISBN 0 340 64591 PB), which is a very thorough review of the
theories and research on the topic.
