New Position: Director of Language Resource Center at Davidson College

  Davidson College seeks to fill immediately the position of Language
Resource 
  Center Director.  Holding a renewable appointment, the Director will work
in 
  close collaboration with Information Technology Services but report to the

  Vice President for Academic Affairs.  Minimum requirement is a BA or BS 
  degree, with an advanced degree preferred, as well as experience using 
  digital technologies.  Experience in foreign language instruction is 
  desirable.  Responsibilities include helping to set up a new computer lab;

  managing the day-to-day operations of the lab (troubleshooting  Mac and NT

  workstations); overseeing a faculty computing room; maintaining a local
area 
  network (administering Mac and NT Advanced servers); coordinating and
supervising 
  work-study students; supporting faculty development (e.g., act as a
resource 
  person, organize events, assist in grant administration); possibly
teaching 
  one or two foreign language courses per year.  Good interpersonal skills
