It sounds like a Unicode issue, especially with all the ??????, What font
are you using,
Lucida Sans Unicode? Also, what printer are you using?
I had a similar problem printing Japanese on a HP4L, after switching the
Printer options
to Print as Graphics, it prints just fine.
