>Subject: Re: #5029.1 Boom box with counter?

------------------
Up until recently we used commercial CD/tape player boom boxes. We switched
this year to players with counters and selected the Eiki 5090A (tape only)
and 7070 (tape and CD). One draw back is that they are mono players (but we
have retained some of our stereo boom boxes for teachers who want to play
music and songs in class). The Eiki recorders/players seem to be more
rugged than commercial boom boxes. They also are more compact and easier to
transport around campus. So far, there have been no complaints.
