We have MkLinux, set up by a student who is leaving for graduate school
this week. We have no lab director in our multimedia facility, and I have
no time for doing or learning with four or five courses to teach per
semester, and adminsistrators who would like to see me beging publishing
more litcrit (little wonder I don't go postal on them).
A dedicated machine Unix-like server is superior to many of the other
solutions, though I see fewer drag n' drop web set-ups for these.
See
The Linux Home Page
http://www.linux.org/
there is also Linux marerial on
MkLinux.org
http://www.mklinux.org
If I ever learn this stuff, you can be sure I will not be working at my
current position.
