BeeJay,

I'm sure that nobody on this list would advocate distributing illegal
copies of anything. Copyright is an important and much talked-about
issue for all of us.

By the way, which "full list prices" are you referring to? Most lab
cassettes which accompany textbooks are available free of charge to
language labs.

I'm sure all readers of this list are aware that unauthorized cassette
duplication of copyrighted material is unlawful!

Some publishers have developed inexpensive tape sets that allow
students
to acquire legal copies for about $3 a tape instead of having to pay
the
full list price for each set.  Surely this is a better solution than
circulating lots of illegal copies.
