>Subject: Standardized Skills test?

Hello all.

Is anyone aware of the existence of a standardized skills test to assess
basic technology competencies? What I have in mind is a TOEFL or ACTFL
for the tech skills set. I would want to administer this to incoming
students to place them in lab orientations as well as with new faculty and
staff to assess which technological skills they have and to determine the
training they will need.

Thanks for any info.
