Following is a recent memo from one of our student workers (written with
tongue firmly in cheek):

"After a number of controlled experiments, we have reached the conclusion
that Expo White Board Cleaner and Towlettes are not only ineffective, but
in fact are a leading cause of ink residue on LFRC white boards. It is
therefore the opinion of the cleaning supplies review board that the LFRC
discontinue use of this product immediately."

We have found that the cleaning fluid adds to the ghosting problem.
However, it does clean well. Try cleaning with the fluid, then with water
(to remove the cleaner residue). We have also found that a disposable
eraser, like the Quartet GhostDuster (#920332 -- U.S. location: Skokie, IL
60077), works well at removing markings with a minimum of ghosting. Use of
the eraser should cut down on the number of times you have to clean the
boards with cleaning fluid and water.
