------------------
We've purchased the "official" dry-erase wipes (the come in a pop-up container, like many baby wipes). I find they tend to be too little cleaning material for large surfaces, and rather pricey, so we didn't buy any more.

I've also found that the blue markers tend toward ghosting than red or green (or even black). So we try to keep blue ones out of the lab.

I also agree with someone who said whatever pain is involved is probably worth keeping the chalk dust out of equipment innards... as hard as you try, there's no way to "cover" equipment and prevent dust getting in.

My $.02...

Dan,

Have you tried baby wipes? I don't know if they work well, but the
thought
had crossed my mind for our lab (I haven't bothered trying it because our
problem isn't that great). They are inexpensive and convenient (if they
work); you
could have a container in each room at the board for easy access.
        (Anyone out there tried this?)
