LeeAnn,
I believe the articles you are looking for are found in two "Lab Management" columns written by Linda Jones (University of Arkansas-Fayetteville). One is in IALL Journal, Vol. 29, No. 1 and the second is in Vol. 29. No. 2. You're right--they are excellent articles on lab design which explain legal requirements set by the American Disabilites Act of 1990. The two columns contain a two-part piece entitled "Are you in Compliance?" I found them very helpful when we redesigned a few workstations in our lab.

Hi all,
I've searched through my IALL Journals and can't find the article,
but I KNOW it exists- perhaps one of you remember and can direct me
to the author----
There was an article written about the ergonomics of lab design,
specifically addressing conforming with the Americans with Disabilities
Act. Anyone remember that article? Who was the author? I think it was
a woman (in the midwest if I recall). I can even picture the article
being near the back part of the Journal.
Help! (please :)
