I'd suggest consulting the CALICO Review for some recent assessments of French
grammar checkers: http://www.calico.org

Sans Faute, which is currently being evaluated, only operates on the Mac
platform. If you're interested, you can download a demo version of Sans Faute
from their web site.  I believe Le Correcteur 101 is also available in a
demo version from the Machina Sapiens web site.  Regards,
