Subject: VIRTUAL PC AND LANGUAGE CDS
To: LLTI-Editor, [log in to unmask]

A school in Germany contacted me with a problem concerning wave files coming in with hesitation from a CD called

"English Coach 2000" und "Franciel" from Cornelsen Verlag.

Apparently Virtual PC in its German version cannot be updated yet to 2.1.2. They have tried everything under the sun that can be done - but are still puzzled that even short wave files show this problem.

Has anybody experienced similar problems and has found a solution?
