University of Wisconsin-Madison

L&S Learning Support Services (LSS) at the University of Wisconsin seeks an Instructor Services Specialist. This person is a member of the LSS Instructional Technology group, and is a primary liaison with foreign language faculty and other instructional staff of the College of Letters & Science. As such, the incumbent must be conversant with current foreign language pedagogy, as well as with instructional technology practices and procedures.

Primary duties include: Work with instructional staff (faculty and teaching assistants) to promote the appropriate use of language learning technology; Coordinate the Instructional Media Equipment Pool; Promote the use of instructional technology in the College of Letters & Science; Coordinate the LSS special labs and mediated classrooms; Coordinate media production for instructional purposes.

To ensure consideration, applications must be received by April 16, 1999. However, the search will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
