------------------
Can anyone else confirm that the Aiwa HV-MX100 will play SECAM in color?
When we were looking for a multistandard converter VCR I specifically asked
if the Aiwa played SECAM. The J & R dealer in NY told me that it did play
it--but in B&W. That is why we ended up having to pay $1300 for the
SAMSUNG (which plays SECAM, PAL, etc) SV 4000 W at:

http://samsungelectronics.com/vcr/index02.html

That is an incredibly EXCELLENT price, if the Aiwa plays/converts from
SECAM, PAL, etc. Carmen
