>Subject: what brand OCR?

------------------
Hello!

We are looking into purchasing OCR software for our scanner that can read lots of different languages, including non-Western ones, of course. We found one by LanguageForce for $99 that can read 33 different languages, and one by SmartLink for $300 that can read 40. Why the big price range? Has anyone had experience with either one of these? What features should I be looking out for and asking about?

I appreciate any help that you can offer.

Thanks,

Bettina Myers
