>Subject: Software inquiry

Hi,

I was wondering if any LLTIers had used or heard of any authoring programs
which allow programmers to create software where students can listen to
digital audio files(and video if available) and record and playback their
own voices throughout. This would mimic very closely the capabilities of
our present cassette-based systems. You could also comment on the quality
of the audio files, especially those that the student records and plays
back. Any platform restrictions or system requirements would also be useful.

Thanks in advance for your time.
Jim Anstey
