I am enclosing a note from Jenise Rowekamp which advertises (with clear
web-based instructions) a new e-mail group whose subject matter will
be teaching, teacher training, and technology, with some focus on language
instruction.
Hope those of you for whom this area is important will join the group and

A NEW LISTSERV FOR TEACHER EDUCATORS
TEACHTECH is an on-line forum through which teacher educators in the area
of technology and second language learning can discuss issues related to
teaching teachers the use of technology as a second language teaching tool.
TEACHTECH is a public and unmoderated list open to anyone involved in or
interested in teacher education and technology for second language
learning. Discussion topics may include, but are not limited to: models of
teacher development around the use of technology; courses, workshops,
approaches and activities for teacher development, and information on
