>Subject: IALL at TESOL

------------------
Dear IALLers!

I am the affiliate representative for IALL, serving as a sort of liaison
between TESOL and IALL to promote interchanges between the two
organizations. At the (very quickly!) upcoming TESOL '99 convention in
New York City, I will be hosting an informational meeting to give
TESOL members information about the IALL organization. I would
appreciate
support (in the form of attendance!) from other veteran members of IALL.
If possible, please spread the word at the convention and be on hand at
the
info meeting to answer questions about the organization and its benefits
to
members.

Here's the announcement that will appear in the Convention Daily:

--------
IALL, the International Association for Language Learning Technology,
will
host an informational meeting to give TESOL members information about
this
affiliate organization. Members of IALL will be on hand to answer
questions, and sample copies of IALL publications will be on display.

Time: 10:30-11:15 on Thursday, March 11
Place: Park Suite 6 (5th floor), Sheraton Hotel
Coffee and tea will be served at this meeting.
--------

If you will be at TESOL, would you mind dropping me a line this week to
let me know? I'll have IALL badges for you to wear so that people can
ask
you questions. You can most likely find me in the Electronic Village at
the convention.

Thanks!
--Greg (IALL/TESOL Affiliate Representative)
