Syracuse Language Systems, an award-winning publisher of interactive 
foreign language software and distance education programs for business, 
education and consumer markets is seeking to establish a network of 
Foreign Language Course Designers:

--Freelance consultant positions available immediately.
--Will consider those seeking permanent employment, as well.
--Work can be done via the Internet or on-site in Syracuse
--Main languages needed: EFL/ESL, Spanish, French, Japanese, Mandarin   
Chinese, German, Portuguese and Italian.

Candidates for Course Designer must be an experienced foreign language 
teacher, with recent teaching experience (position not open to general 
Instructional Designers with no foreign language teaching experience).
They also must be:

--fluent in at least one foreign language.
--able to work under tight deadlines and short turn around times,
--able to design courses from the ground up, or modify existing         
courses.
--willing to edit courses/materials written by other designers.
--able to work in Word í97, PC not MAC.
