------------------
At Syracuse University we used "Hyperdrill" a locally developed software
package. It allows students to self-assess their pronunciation of a
language. they can record words or phrases and compare their pronunciation
of the native-speaker model. In addition HYPERDRILL provides unique
feedback in the form of a "voice graph" of both the model and the student,
thus giving visual clues to pronunciation errors.
For more information contact Karin Carey in the SU Office of Sponsored
Programs.
