------------------
I have recently purchased a UMAX 1200 scanner for my home office. . I've
been very pleased with results. It was easy to set up and has worked
flawlessly with very good resolution. It has a USB connection which will
work with both PCs and Macs with a USB port. There other models for
either pc or mac. One model UMAX 1200S is scsi and can also be ported to
either a Mac or Pc with a scsi. And the best part is that the USB model is
about $129 and $149 for the scsi.
