JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF ANALYST/MANAGER, LOST-IN-TRANSIT ANALYTICS



Define data-driven improvements for our Operations group related to the Product Performance initiative, aimed at reducing customer incidents in the delivery process.



Perform data analysis to develop analytical solutions to solve delivery problems that are critical to the long-term health of Wayfair’s business; write SQL queries to extract and analyze data to isolate issues, and inform stakeholders of these analytical findings.



Solutions that the Analyst/Manager will likely work on include:



  *   Analyze and define operational problems, structure our internal analyses to resolve the issue, execute analyses, and communicate insights and implications to leadership; use data to drive insights into products lost-in-transit, understand the financial impact of these issues, and make recommendations to suppliers.

  *   Apply structured and logical thinking and fluency in quantitative and advanced analytical methods to address and resolve shipping problems.

  *   Work with Engineering, Data Science and Operations Process Innovation teams to build complex models to address Lost-in-transit incidences.

  *   Collaborate with senior leaders across Wayfair to continually identify opportunities, build sophisticated analytical models, and thereby drive impact.
