Thanks, everyone for your wonderful suggestions! I didn't know about Wakelet, and it looks great for what we need. Webreel was also interesting, but I think Wakelet shows things more clearly if you're looking to see resources at a glance. This is not for student projects but rather to start a collection of teaching resources for our faculty and TAs.
It appears Pinboard is no longer free. It also doesn't seem to have quite the visual appeal that Pinterest or Wakelet have.
I have used Padlet before, and I liked it for in-class activities, but they seem to be having more and more tech issues these days.

The great thing is that you can create RSS feeds for link that you give a certain tag to. So you can have a lot of customization.
