Owler is seeking full time applicants for a Product Management role in San Mateo, CA:

Owler Product Manager

We're searching for a rock-star product manager with the ability to think outside of the box of traditional data companies and create and hone new products that delight with every use.

You are user focused, use data to guide your decisions and can't sleep at night if the details of your project aren't just right. You cherish autonomy, get a warm feeling from simplicity and understand that being scrappy and focused on user delight is the only way to build great product.
What you'll do:
*         Own products from conception through launch
*         Set clear goals and deadlines and take responsibility to meet them
*         Develop a deep understanding of user behavior, metrics, and look for ways to drive key product goals
*         Work in a fast paced, dynamic environment where prototypes and iteration are everything
*         Communicate why a project is important and rally team members around a common goal
*         Listen to customer requests and then dive into the core needs to create new value propositions
*         Engage with our design team to design simple, gorgeous and delightful products

What we're looking for:
*         Consumer facing product experience
*         Excellent communication skills
*         2+ years of experience as a Product Manager
*         Flexibility working with remote teams across time-zones
*         The ability to think strategically and then execute on that strategy
*         A technical background that fosters communication with a fast moving engineering team
*         Strong project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
*         Experience in leveraging quantitative and qualitative data analysis
*         Understanding of creating intuitive, simple user experiences
Pluses:
Experience working within an agile framework, previous experience with mobile apps and user analytics platforms (e.g. Amplitude).
