Heh.

I was thinking that I bet I would start with the repeat loop style, that would closely mimic the way I had done it by hand. That might be good enough, but often I end up extending a script to do things that I didn't think of at first.

When that happens, usually I then want the list (actually applescript records) so that I can do all those extra things.

Don't forget though, premature optimization is the root of all evil...
