Hi Chris,

Yes, I recorded and ran the Acrobat steps in Automater; the steps ran, but no code was visible.  I had not used Automater before, so did not know if that was normal.  After that, I tried to record in Script Editor with no luck.  So I should have mentioned that initially.  Acrobat has a decent dictionary in Script Editor, so it should be simple to just create a new blank PDF, Insert Pages, Save As using Applescript  commands you would think.  Oh, and I definitely like this board.  Lots of good info I have received in the past!
