This is a reminder that from 7:00 to 9:00 AM on Saturday May 23, 2015,
George Clark is to lead a bird walk in the Norwich nature area as
arranged by the Milton Frye Nature Area Committee. This walk is free
and open to the public. The committee welcomes any donations to
support ongoing efforts to control invasive plants in the nature area.
On the walk we'll be seeking lingering spring migrants and summer
resident birds. Bring binoculars if available. We'll walk perhaps a
mile over fairly level, but uneven and possibly damp, ground. Dress
warmly for predicted cool temperatures in the early hours that morning.

Route instructions: From Exit 13 off I-91, turn towards the village of
Norwich, VT. Upon entering the village along Route 5 (Main Street),
take the first right turn onto a paved road passing between St.
Barnabas Episcopal Church on the right and the Norwich Town Green on
the left. After passing the Marion Cross School on the left, turn
right into a parking lot. The walk is to begin at 7 AM at the
trailhead at the far end of the parking lot.

George Clark
Norwich, VT
