Our weekend bird count for PFW included 23 Wild Turkeys under the feeders, and a pair of Ruffed Grouse who made an unexpected appearance . The Grouse did not seem at all interested in the ground feed, spending their time munching on nannyberry and hemlock buds. After a short visit, they both meandered across the road into the spruce grove.
