*********************************

START (Student Teachers in the Arts) is a great low time commitment volunteer
program that allows Dartmouth students to go into local grade schools and teach
an art class of their design. Any type of art is welcomed (Theater, Music,
Painting, Dance, Crafts, etc.) START is a great opportunity for Dartmouth
students to do something positive for the Upper Valley community by making a
difference in the lives of local school children.

*********************************
Why should you join START?
** You can help expose kids to the arts
**Low Time commitment (only 1 hour per week for 6 weeks a term)
** Kids are great and love volunteers
**We provide transportation and supplies
** You can work in partners
** EVERYONE IS WELCOME (you don't need to be an arts major or even have artistic
skill)

*********************************

Enclosed is the application for the 2010 Fall term. You can blitz the
application or any questions for more information to START.

Hope to see you this Fall!
