Alces Technology is looking to hire a micro-optics technician for a full-time position in Jackson Hole, WY. Alces is a small company pushing the boundaries of high-speed, high-resolution depth capture. Alces has developed a novel method for 3D sensing involving MEMS, laser optics and computer vision. The technician will be responsible for fabricating and evaluating micron-scale optical assemblies, as well as chemical processing and testing of our MEMS devices. Candidates should have lab experience from any field - engineering preferred, biology, chemistry, or other experience sufficient. The ideal candidate may also have some familiarity with optical design or MEMS fabrication, however no previous experience in these fields is necessary.
