Morning birding from Springfield to Norwich was slow overall, but 
included a few highlights:

Jensen Marsh (on Rt. 106) - 2 American Bitterns, 2 Virginia Rails
N. Springfield Lake Recreation Area (Maple St.) - male Bay-breasted 
Warbler, 16+ Rose-breasted Grosbeaks
Kendall Station - Philadelphia Vireo
Campbell Flats - Philadelphia Vireo, 6 Scarlet Tanagers
