Why: You could argue that Acadia is the most beautiful place in New England. It's America's most-visited national park, but you'll be going during the shoulder-season when the crowds have thinned and the park is much quieter!
Located on Mt. Desert Island off the coast of Maine, Acadia offers easy enjoyment of fall foliage, beautiful ocean vistas, and coastal cliffs. Be prepared to hike, hang out, and gorge yourself on all things gorgeous (Daayyyum, Piotr)!
Cost: $25, and you must become a DOC member if you are not one already. That membership costs $20 for a year, or $50 for four years. If you do more than one CnT trip per year, then it will probably pay for itself.
Blitz: Alexander Greer to sign up or get more info!
