Automation Sales Engineer

iAutomation is seeking dynamic candidates ready for a great entrepreneurial opportunity! You will manage a territory for the company with a strong existing customer base and dynamic suppliers ready to support opportunity and growth. Successful candidates will be responsible for growing base business by selling new products and services to existing clients and growing the territory by adding new clients to the existing pipeline. You will be responsible for cultivating bookings and increasing gross margins and developing sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations to customers. You will prepare accurate and thorough sales activity and forecast reports for the executive management team and analyze trends in order to create new opportunities. Keeping current on market business and product trends is an extremely important part of the growth of this outside sales role. You will be the primary point of contact with customers and our internal customer service to drive the ultimate customer service experience.

As a key member of the team, you will receive support from our Inside Sales Team and Technical Support staff to deliver a high level customer satisfaction. You will work with our dynamic marketing team to develop collateral materials second to none in the industry to assist you in delivering compelling sales materials to prospects that set you above the rest of the market.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of an Engineering degree in a relevant field such as Electrical or Mechanical and 5-7  years experience in the industry. A real "self-starter" who is driven to uncover new opportunities in the marketplace. The ability to penetrate new potential clients and form relationships with existing clients in the territory is highly is essential.
