The Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon bird walk to Pondicherry  
National Wildlife Refuge scheduled for Sunday October 14, 2012, has  
been cancelled in view of an adverse weather forecast.

This morning's National Weather Service forecasts for locations in all  
directions around Pondicherry indicate continuous rain through the  
daylight hours tomorrow with rainfall totals predicted to be between  
1/4 and 1/2 inch. For most localities, probabilities of precipitation  
are 90 or 100%, and no breaks in the rain are indicated for daylight  
hours tomorrow. The forecast conditions have deteriorated since  
yesterday.

We regret having to cancel this bird walk but hope that a trip to  
Pondicherry can be offered next year.
