Hi Bob, et al,

You might want to try the Wondershare PDF to Word converter. I have used the free version to convert documents up to 300 pages long.  The Pro version, which costs about $50, will convert PDF image files, i.e., texts that have been scanned. It uses OCR for these, so requires some manual post editing, but is certainly worth the money for its purpose.
