	As I was mowing the yard just before dusk this evening, I heard a sound that  
brought back fond memories of boyhood: a single Common Nighthawk peenting, flying  
far overhead.  They used to be everywhere on summer nights, flapping their wings  
erratically and diving; now I only see them occasionally during migration.
