PPC machines can't run 10.6. 10.5.9 is their limit.

Yes. I currently have a project that I run on machines from 10.4 to 10.8. I use the same project file and open it in 2.4 and 4.0 without a problem. The project has 2 sets of scripts, one built against Indesign 2 and one built against Indesign CS5. When I am working on CS5 I use my 10.6 machine to edit the scripts and when I am working on the Indesign 2, I use the 10.4 machine.
