Syntax Untangler, a free, hosted Web instructional tool, has just added
features that let you use primary texts in any visual format, from poetry
layouts to computer programs, or build step-by-step, drill-down activities
to analyze a text in stages. Feedback messages are now more nuanced and
engaging. Players can now use older browsers such as Internet Explorer 7.
