Hi folks,

Received a request from a Swarthmore Alum who's looking for recorded sounds for a theatre production ... in this case some things in Afrikaans like:

> - an officer / guard / police / etc. shouting or yelling or barking orders
> - crowd sounds
> - reading of poetry or other texts.

Am guessing there aren't many resources to pay (or pay much for these). Anyone know of repositories of recordings that could include things like this?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

- mike

At the moment I'm looking for stuff in Afrikaans for a show I'm doing at the Lantern Theater this spring. Do you have any resources that might be helpful, either for this specific language, or when I'm looking for this sort of thing more generally?
