Hey all, this august 6th and 7th is the Xterra Stoaked triathlon. For those who aren't familiar, its a very fun event, you can compete at various levels and for the whole thing, or just individual events. There will be a barbecue before hand, and a celebration afterwards. Best of all, nearly all of the proceeds go to the DOC! There is an entrance fee however, but not for volunteers. So if you're interested in helping out, or just supporting the DOC, or you want to enter for free, or you just think its really cool to get to wear a radio and look official, let me know. We need a whole bunch of volunteers to help make this happen, doing things like running the course to sweep, or lifeguarding or pointing people in the right direction. Even if you don't have a lot of time, a lot of the slots are very short. So let me know if you're interested in helping out. I attached the spreadsheet of where volunteers are needed, anywhere on the left column if it says DOC, we need someone. Let me know what slot you'd like, and I'll put you in!
