Hi All,
I hope you don't mind my asking a question that has little to do with
language learning technology (or earwigs).

I'm planning to get a Blu-ray player that connects to the Internet so that I
can subscribe to Netflix streaming. I'd rather do that than connect my
computer to our HDTV.  However, I read somewhere that 10 mbps is the minimum
speed needed for smooth video performance.
Our RCN connection is rated at 10 mbps, but, as you might expect, rarely
reaches that, clocking in at about 9 mbps at its highest speed.
In your opinion, is this fast enough to get good, uninterrupted connection?
