Hello all,

For those IALLT members attending CALICO at the University of Victoria next week, please note that we will have an IALLT information table in the registration area rather than an exhibit booth, due to limited space. I hope that you will stop by to chat and I'd like to encourage you to attend our brown bag IALLT Information Session on Friday, May 20th in Clearihue D134.

I also encourage you to attend the three IALLT-Sponsored presentations at CALICO:

1)
"Dubbing and Subtitling of Film Scenes in a Translation and Adaptation Spanish Course, an Interdisciplinary Project"
Felisa Guillen and Bruno Louchouarn, Occidental College
5/19/11 2:00pm Clearihue C108

2)
"Cultural Interviews in Foreign Languages and ESL"
Birgit Deir
Marianne Kroon Nazareth College
5/20/11 9:00am Clearihue C108

3)
"Customizable Streaming Video Playback: YouTube Your Way"
Harold Hendricks HTRSC Brigham Young University
5/21/11 10:00am Clearihue C108

I hope to see many of you next week in Victoria!

Cheers,
Cindy
